The vote for these nominees will take place at our last PTA meeting of the year, on April 29th at 3:50pm, in the faculty room at North Elementary. We invite ALL to attend and show your support for the incoming board members and to celebrate another great year as a PTA. There will be treats and your children are welcome to come play in the gym (where an adult will be helping) while the meeting takes place.
It was another successful year for our STEM Career Day! Students were engaged with a variety of presenters ranging from agriculture, medical, aviation, and forensics. Thank you to all our presenters that took time to engage our students with their career.
The Kite Flight is coming up on April 18th. Please take your reading log to the Kite Flight event. Extra kite flight reading logs are located in the office.
Yearbook Sales CLOSE tomorrow!
Today and tomorrow are the final days to pre-order yearbooks for this school year. Unlike previous years, we did not sell yearbooks at Back to School Night.
If you would like your child to have a copy of this year’s memories, please be sure to place your order using the link below before sales close.

*PTA will purchase a limited number of extra yearbooks to sell for $15 during the last week of school, while supplies last. However, ordering by 3/31 is the least expensive option, and the only way to guarantee your child gets one!
As we are headed into field trip season from now until the end of May, please make sure that you are fingerprinted AND have taken all of the online training. Please remember that other children are not to attend unless they are in that grade level because you are filling a supervisory position.
If you are wanting to transport your own child you will need to fill out an assumption of risk form in the office 24 hours in advance.
If you are wanting to travel on the bus, there is a limited amount of seating. Please coordinate with the teacher ahead of time.

A guest artist from the Utah Museum of Fine Arts came to visit and teach 2nd graders about Japanese Printmaking. Students were able to create their own works of art.
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students put their spelling skills to the test in our annual spelling bee! Congratulations to our top three winners: Dash, Darby, and Yesenia! Dash and Darby will be moving on to our district spelling bee this month!
Thank you to our PTA for hosting another amazing Muffins with Misses event! We had a great turn out, and always appreciate our families coming to spend time with their students.
Twenty two 5th graders represented North Elementary well at the SUU Science and Engineering Fair, and we are so proud of the 8 students who received awards!
Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL for students the rest of the week! Enjoy the long weekend! We will see students back at school on Monday, 3/16!
