On January 25th, the symphonic band travelled to play at four of the local elementary schools. Their performance took much hard work and preparation to accomplish. They even took time to introduce each instrument and how it sounded. This was to show the 4th and 5th graders what being in band was like and what kind of instruments they could play when they come to middle school. They played many different songs and even involved the students in the songs; Handclap and Sweet Caroline. Our Cedar Middle School band visited South Elementary, North Elementary, East Elementary, and finally, Iron Springs. They had a lot of fun and even through their exhaustion, they still worked together and stayed upbeat and happy.
