On Friday, March 10, local business people visited Cedar Middle School to share their expertise with our students. The career fair was held in the small gym with booths set up around the gym. 7th graders in CCA classes and some 8th grade classes were able to visit and learn about many different careers from local professionals. Students were asking questions and in some case trying out actually equipment like trying on fire gear, flying a drone on a computer, robots, CPR, welding gear etc. Presenters brought stickers, hats, lanyards and candy to share with the students. We really appreciate all the local business owners and professionals that took the time to visit with our students. Thanks to our counselors and CCA teachers for arranging such a great event.
