3 students in Hawaiian dress

 Welcome Back CMS Students!

Last Friday, August 25, the school held a Back to School Bash put on by the student Council as a Fundraiser for Kamehameha III Elementary which burned down in the fire. The bash was only $2.00. You could also buy concessions for just $1! The Bash was  Hawaiian themed, and once you paid to get in, they stamped your hand and gave you a leis to wear. I thought the Bash was fun because the Dj (Brock Bentley with Festival Sounds) played some upbeat songs and some slow songs, which I thought was a great way to say ‘Hi’ to that friend that you've been wanting to talk to and ask them to dance! CMS hosts lots of activities and fun events like this. One of these is the fun run but we'll talk more about that in October. At the Bash there was a picture booth set up to take your B real or post some fun Tik Toks with your friends. The fundraiser helped raise around $670. The teachers that chaperoned said that they also had a great time. Thanks again to the student Council who planned such a fun activity!   Overall I had a great time and I think you should come to the next event the school has.
