Last Wednesday, February 7th CHS theater students and teacher came and demonstrated what high school theater is like. They also talked about some things students could potentially do in the high school theater elective. Three CHS students demonstrated a play they are currently working on called “Little Woman”. They acted the scene out and also sang along with them. Mr. Uminski, the high school theater teacher, talked about the different theater classes you can take as well as giving help tips for eighth graders. One thing he mentions to help with auditions is, “know your material very well.” There ya have it folks, know your material. And good luck to any eighth graders trying out.
