students signing a pledge

Each October schools around the nation celebrate National Drug Fee week. It is called Ribbon Ribbon week and this year's theme was Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free. Cedar Middle School students showed their great school spirit during Red Ribbon Week. They had a week of dressing up in various styles and costumes including pajama day, superhero day, hat day, jersey day, and Halloween costumes. They showed their “Say no to drugs” spirit all week.

The student council came up with a theme for each dress up day which included a saying against drugs. Pajama day was “Put drugs to sleep.”  Superhero day was “Fight against drugs!”  Hat day was “put a cap on drugs,” Jersey day was “team up on drugs” , and last but not least Halloween was “scare away drugs.” CMS students signed the pledge to not do drugs. Cedar Middle School has a very strong attitude against doing drugs and would like to show all the Warrior students the same.
