The First Enrichment activity in January was a STEM challenge activity. Students got together in groups to make a tin foil boat. The challenge was to see who's boat would hold the most pennies. The enrichment student group collected the boats and later tested them in buckets of water. The winning boat held 412 pennies and was made by Jonah, Jackson and Maverick. Way to go!

The second enrichment activity in January was a guest speaker, Oscar Fakahua came to CMS to visit us and give us a motivational speech. He told us about how he grew up and had us play red light green light. It was really fun. The enrichment team presented him to the school and then he talked about being picked on. After this, we played our red light green light game. If we moved, we had to go back to the beginning. His message for the students was that people will mess with you or try to get you to give up but never give up on your dreams. Everyone has potential.
