This week was Welcome Week at CMS. Our student council worked hard to put this on for us. There was a balloon arch made of gold and red balloons with a large sign saying ‘Welcome Back Warriors” in the entry hall to our school and it was great seeing friends we hadn't seen all summer. We enjoyed many fun dress-up themes:
Monday - Patriotic themed clothes. Tuesday - Sunglasses and socks. Wednesday - Neon colored clothes. Thursday - All one color clothes. Friday - Hats and CMS Swag
On Friday, we also enjoyed a Welcome Assembly to welcome us back to school. At our assembly, some students and teachers played musical chairs, did a toilet paper relay race, and a toilet paper dress-up competition. Our Symphonic Band provided music, and we met our Student Council and Hope Squad members and new faculty.
