On November 9th students who qualified had the opportunity to go to enrichment during advisory and let the CHS Athletes talk about what they do. We learned that most of them have to try out for the sport they want to do. They gave us an important lesson about not giving up and not having to focus on one thing only. CMS students asked them about the things that they would do if they got into a sport. Some of them responded with saying that they get to go on trips for games in Utah. But they have to miss some school work especially towards the end of the school year. It may be harder to keep up with school work but sports is still a good opportunity to join. We also learned that joining the CHS Athletes makes it like another family for us. Being part of the team means not having to be left out.
